This is about my great-granddaughter. At 7 weeks of age she underwent an extremely traumatic event that nearly took her life. She is blind and has several motor skill problems. However, we are thankful everyday for her and all the love she shares along with her beautiful smile. She will be seeing the best eye doctor in the world shortly, to see if they can give her some sight and she goes through agonizing physical therapy 2x a week.

She now has her own little motto as well! Every one who sees her agrees it fits her to a T. "She is small, but she is feisty!" Bella has just turned 4 on her first day of her second year in her special day-care. We are all amazed at how far she has progressed, sometimes even going around without her braces. Her legs are getting so much stronger than we felt they would ever be. She is a cute little ballerina for her Daddy and Mommy, and I am lucky enough to get the videoes! They mean so very much to me. I am asking for your continued prayers for her and her family as she and her Mom are constantly bombarded by nightmares from what happened, even though Bella doesn't remember , she still screams in her sleep, his time in Iraq has caused her Dad to be plagued with PTSD. It is a horrible disease that puts you back in the middle of the war you were fighting. Many suffer from this illness, and many times it goes undiagnosed until too late. Her long curly red hair, bright eyes and ready smile helps all of us cope with the difficulties of our daily lives. I so want to thank all of you who have contacted me about praying for her and our family. I also want to thank all the hippatherapist who have been so diligent in her care, her Drs. and her teachers and her remarkable Mom, Dad and brothers!

I hope that all of you who can will donate time or anything else you can to keep programs like this going. Animals are so important to our day to day well-being. As Ronald Reagan once commented, "There is nothing better for the inside of a man than the outside of a horse."

All or boxes are 18's-3***-, and have a shower and a feed trough. All bedding is flax.

Mashes are always available, and unless I make an error in judgement we will never be without them.

I have high hopes that you will want to board here at Heart Strings EC, and stay! Our prestige is getting higher every day, and our minimum required skills are 6800, or I've been known to allow those with less, if they make an honest effort to improve. This change is due to my attempt to keep the lessons and prestige up. I don't want to drop below 75% again and thus lose our rosettes. I hope you understand.

We have all worked very hard together and as of the beginning of this week Heart Strings Center now is over 75 %. I have to be careful not to let this level slip, because we also have 5 competitions that now award Rosettes to our winners! A great BIG Congratulations to all of you who made this possible. Please remember to build up the dressage levels of all your horses, as this is exceedingly important to the prestige of the center. It and your horses health determine our lesson prices, so lets keep our babies healthy and in constant training to improve! Thank You
