-From the USA. (North Carolina, to be exact.)
-I've grown up around horses. I've ridden since I was 5, taken lessons in both western and hunter jumper, and worked at a rescue for close to 10 years.
Currently, I have one horse of my own. A 2011 grade paint horse named Chip. I started him myself as a teen and he's been my buddy for about a decade now. He's pretty solid through the 2'6 and just an all around fun guy. Recently we've started to dip our toes into the western world and will be making our debut next season in the local ranch classes!
And, of course, I couldn't write about horses without mentioning Tacoma! The first horse who managed to earn the term "Heart Horse" and the first horse I ever owned. He was pretty much everything you DON'T want in a first horse but I was smitten all through high school. A stubborn, ornery fellow who was loved until the day he passed back in 2022. <3
Also the proud owner of Athena, a 2022 black tri aussie. We're working on earning her Champion title in AKC conformation. She is a wonderful partner in everything I do and the best trail riding partner.
Honorable mention to Car Battery "Babs, BB", the bonus cat I found along the way.
About Howrse
-I used to breed Paint Horses and then KWPNs.
I've got a roughly 20 minute BLUP, but these days I don't find much engagement in it so most of them take a while. Feel free to reach out if you have questions!
-I've had a few horses reach the Top 10 Leaderboards in something and hope to have more eventually.
-I love creating Golden Apple, Helios' Ray, and Apollo's Lyre combos on my horses. I feel like one of the interesting parts of this site is the art. I'm currently re-organizing my tabs so that my golden apple horses can all be grouped together.
- I also have a few just one (I sold the others...) Diamond Apple horses that I designed when it was still available.
-I collect Retired Golden Apple horses, but I'm picky about which ones.
-Most of my horses are for sale at the right price. (Except Storm Splatter, so stop asking!)
-All horses in the sales are negotiable.
