Late in June 2014 I got some thrilling news.  I had won a contest on Howrse.  For being the first to correctly answer some trivia questions about the World Equestrian Games, as well as a random-guess answer about the number of times howrses were stroked on the game on a certain day.... I was the winner of a fantastic prize:  A trip to see the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France!

I was absolutely in shock and continued to feel that way as the weeks went by!  How many times I asked myself if this was just a dream?

As much as I looked forward to the adventure, it turned out to be even better than I imagined it could be!  My travel companions were a wonderful group, the horses and riders were the best in the world, and I got to enjoy great food, lodging & sightseeing in beautiful Normandy and Paris.

Thank you to all the Owlient team for making this fantastic experience possible, and to my international posse of travel companions for making it unforgettable! And thank you to every player on Howrse who has so kindly congratulated me and wished me well!
