Please understand that I cannot be on Howrse 24/7 , so if you send me a message I might not respond immediately. Laugh when you can. Apologize when you should. Let go of what you can't change. Love deeply and forgive quickly. Take chances and give your everything - Life is too short to be anything but happy. You have to take the good with the bad. Love what you got. Always remember what you had. Forgive but don't forget, but always remember that life goes on. |

Sales Nothing for the time being. I am trying to be more active in the game. Unfortunately real life along with the decline of quality the game has suffered in the last years prevent me from doing so. It might just be my personal opinion but for me the game used to be immensely fun. I would spend hours breeding horses and training them, entering them into competitions and breeding again to get better horses. I remember how happy I was when I managed to get my first 5* foal. The events were fun, enjoyable and left you with a feeling of accomplishment. And most of all there were rare. Because they were just that. Events. Then they became more frequent and more demanding in order to complete. More passes here, more hours there. They were still fun and you could still get plenty of good rewards if you strategized them properly. I loved this part. Along with the select few lines of Divines that actually had useful perks and weren't just a cash grab. And now I've reached the point were I find these Events TEDIOUS at best. Repetitive, bland and the required amount of passes needed in order to complete them is discouraging. And the worst thing? There is almost nothing in this game anymore that revolves around "breeding and training". No updates on new breeds, on new competitions or maybe new ways to train and improve equestrian centers. The game turned it's attention from "Howrse : Breed horses and manage an equestrian center" to "Howrse : Events every other week for a chance to obtain the new Shiny" and it saddens me greatly. But I find myself still loving the game and all the little pixels I've managed to acquire during the last decade of playing. I will not quit but I will not be present every day. I'll try to focus on breeding again. I just hope that one day the game will return to it's former glory so that new players can experience it's joy and old players like me and so many others can get back the spark of happiness and accomplishment that came along with playing this game. Sincerely, A Dusty Veteran. |
