9/2/2023: Logged on for the first time in awhile. Nostalgic memories for sure. I miss the old game and my old friends. It's crazy how time flies and the last few years for me have been rough to say the least. Simply trying to find my place/purpose in the world at this point in time.
6/2/19: Occasionally log into here every now and then so that my account doesn't get deleted. I hope everyone is doing well and I miss all the wonderful friends I made on here. I am still working full-time, and looking into getting my veterinary technology degree and going from there. I still battle my anxiety and depression on a daily basis. Hard to believe I have been on this game for ten years!! -diva
I've been apart of many top teams including, but not limited to; Unique Quarter Horses, I See Spots Appaloosas, Le Fae Morgans, Total Mayhem Barbs, Kaytarah Arabians, Enchanted Gypsy Vanners, Blazer Quarter Horses... jeez.. wish I could remember them all!
I own the *original* crossbred horses who were the first to have six stars in almost every skill. They were passed onto me by a dear friend of mine who has since long quit the game. You can view them under my "other horses" tab. Their names are all "MySixStarWonders." Currently looking to buy reasonably priced P. Stones so that I can make them immortal. :)
Dec 31, 2013 - You never know when someone you love is going to pass away... The lady I worked for at the Pony Party company passed away on Christmas day from her battle with cystic fibrosis. She was rushed to the hospital a week earlier via ambulance. She wasn't breathing very well and wasn't able to keep anything down.. Things got worse as her kidneys began failing. They placed her on a dialysis machine and a ventilator. Then they put her in a drug induced coma... We were all praying for a Christmas miracle.. But her body couldn't fight any longer. Her heart and lungs became weaker.. She was only 26, a senior citizen in the CF world. She was an amazing woman and an inspiration to all.. Even though I only knew her for about five months, she impacted my life. I wish I could have told her that. I wish I had gotten to tell her how much she meant to me. She's the first person that was close to me that's ever passed away, and truth be told, I'm really not doing well. I still can't seem to grasp the fact that I will never, ever, ever see her again, or talk to her, or work with her or laugh with her. She was incredible.. and I will never understand why she was taken from us so quickly and unexpectedly. I loved everything about her - her fire red hair, her quick wit and sharp tongue, her kindness towards animals, and fire cracker personality. She leaves behind her husband, her six year old son, and her 84 rescue animals. RIP Sheena.. I love you.. Please watch over me. <3

Wanna know why so many older players are upset about the new changes? PLEASE READ-
I do not support this game the way I used to. Why? Well, to be honest,
you would know why if you had 600 days or more. Howrse isn't the same
anymore. It has changed so much in the last year for the newer players,
who wanted things and didn't want to have to work for them like the ones
before them. So in effect, the game isn't economically balanced
anymore.
Nothing
has real economic value because Howrse hands out so much to the
newbies. I stopped buying passes awhile ago, not because I did not
possess the money to buy them, but because I didn't like the game as
much as I used to.
Once
upon a time, we all started out with 1,000 equus and foundation horse
(sired by Gaia and Ouranos), there wasn't and programed in tutorial. If
we had a question, and we couldn't figure it out, we would ask in the
Game Play forum. That was it. We worked for what we owned
and none of it was handed to us.

Hard to believe it's been 7 years on this game! I am 21 and currently work at a vet clinic. I am getting my associates in Psychology and my bachelors in Anthrozoology. Anthrozoology is the first of it's kind in the United States anyway - it's the study of the human-animal bond and how animals help heal people.

Recently on ABCfamily, a movie called Cyberbu//y premiered. I have to say it was extremely powerful and inspirational. It honestly felt like I was watching myself; especially during the scene where Emily Osment (Taylor), tried to take her own life. No matter if you haven't ever been bullied, words still hurt. They wound, and never fade, as the memories haunt us. So please, think before you speak! You may truly be saving someone's life!! You never know, someday, it could even be a fellow player on howrse ... like me. (Feel free to copy/paste this anywhere, as long as due credit is given.
