About Me

All of this bio is outdated. I am now a very busy adult who rarely finds time to log on. Apologies. My horses and such are also fairly unimpressive now since the game has changed so much. Remember when 10 passes was enough to buy amazing skillers? When 10 green stars was nearly unheard of in quality and cost actual passes to buy? That is when I really played this game. Before UFOs, before divines and specials, before and after vaccines, back when you had to hire other players to work in your equestrian center, etc etc. I am not afraid of change, but my offers to help new players are a bit obsolete. I will do my best if I happen to be on, but honestly I am probably just as confused as you. For the sale of preserving the memory, my old bio starts here. My username is humming_bird and my real name is classified. I am selling most of my horses and starting to breed skillers and unicorns. In real life I love animals an own many but have never been able to own a horse of my own. I have worked with horses all my life though and ream to one day be able to afford one. I try my best to help with whatever I can so if you ever ave a question, feel free to ask me. I also have a topic in my forum entitled "A Little About Me" where you can ask me anything about myself. I will post pictures of me, the horses I work with, my pets, whatever you guys want within reason. I normally run a Create-A-Foal program in my forum. I love taking requests from people too so if there is a contest you would like me to run or a donation you would like to make or me to apply to a specific horse I will gladly do these things if they are within my power.

About the Horses

I am restarting my farms! I have kept my unicorns but all my other stock is being retired or sold as I restart with new farms. I will be attempting to focus on Selle Francais, Thoroughbreds, and Akhal-Tekes once my new mares are trained and BLUP'ed

- Yes from all stallions. Pm me the name of the mare you want it reserved for and I will pm you back a price. Upon receiving confirmation from you I will reserve the covering

How you can Help

BMI's are always accepted as well as I can either use them to train horses for giveaways or to use the BMI itself.

I was here when...

You gave apples to your own horses.

You gave salt stones to your horses.

Horses could get sick and die if you didn't call the vet, and keep it up to date. If EC your horse was registered at didn't hire a vet your horse would die.

There were only five breeds: Arabian horses, Appaloosas, Paint horses, Thoroughbreds, and Quarter horses- no donkeys or ponies.

There were "deadlines" and when you met the seniority deadline you got free stuff.

They got rid of deadlines and gave you riding levels- you had to answer questions on real horses right every so many days to progress in the levels.

There was no mobile version of Howrse, and certainly no App!

There wasn't an ideas forum.

As of a little while ago.... there WAS an ideas forum. lol.

The international server was the only one.

If you didn't log on the day your mare was going to foal, you lost the foal.

There were no trophies.

There were no pets.

...and then there WERE pets.

And now there's not again.

There was no heliois' ray.

There were no promos

Then there were promos maybe four times a year

Before the lottery or wandering horses were even thought of. Or the cards.

Before there were any Howrse Help sites online.

Rivenwood was an ADMIN.

There was no Western riding on Howrse

No barrel racing in the Western riding after they added it.
