I have gone on many pony rides when I was a little kid, but the first time I truly rode a horse was when I was nine years old. His name is Chipper (POA gelding). He's retired now, and I haven't seen him since, but he's pretty happy in his pasture.
Man, was he lazy XD

Mine was Bug. He was a POA and always found ways to get things the way HE wanted them. Maybe he's why I'm not too bad of a rider. default smiley :p

The first horse I rode was named Scout. I was around 2 but my older cousin was also in the saddle holding me.

The first pony I rode was named Apple sometimes I was led sometimes not.

They both lived on our farm.

The first horse I ever properly rode was Laddie, I had lessons on him when I was younger and he never put a foot wrong but is now retired due to arthritis. Before then I had outgrown him anyway and moved on to Leeroy, a bouncy paint that was full of energy!

The very first horse I actually rode was Buddy. He's a white quarter horse that was very stubborn and gave me a hard time. He's at Libby Ferguson's Horse Center. But then I couldn't go anymore so I don't really know if anything happened to him... But if you go to Libby Ferguson can you please tell me how Wishes is doing?

DR.

He was so lazy default smiley xd I only rode him for 2-3 lessons, literally being lead around the ring in walk for the whole hour, so I moved EQs.

I don't remember the name of the first horse I rode as I was two years old. I rember riding him/her though. He/she was a tall bay horse. I got to walk up and down the drivway of the facility on a lead line while I waited for the rest of my family to finish their trail ride.

The first horse I properly rode and remember riding was named apple fizz. I rode her once, before finding a safer barn, but she had to be one of the safest, bomb proof horses I have ever been on. I was trotting for the first time (stupid since it was my first lesson and I didn't have the balance for it) and another horse spooked and the rider fell off. Fizz just looked at the comotion, (the horse was galloping around the ring wildly) look at the instructor, then dropper her head and relaxed while the instructor went to catch the loose horse. Fizz has since been put to retirement where she is allowed to graze and relax 24/7.

I'm sure there were a bunch of ponies I rode at festivals/fairs when I was really little, but the first horse I rode for real was a light gray tall-ish pony called Jester. He wasn't much of a jester, really, just fun and energetic. He was about 10 years old, and I learned the basics on him.

The first horse I rode was named Buck. She is a 24 year old buckskin mare. Funny thing is she only likes girls to ride her.
