Quarter Horses!

2 purebred welshes and a arab english cross

I have 1 Quarter Horse and 4 Thoroughbreds and 1 Quarter Horse pony (We don't know what kind of pony though) Before we saved her she had a rough life. Her previous owner kept her in a very very small area without grass, and only got fed one flake of hay every once in a while. When we got her she had never seen or ate grain before, same with treats. She was covered in bug bites because they never treated her, and her skin was raw to the touch. We think she was supposed to be a horse but because of the malnutrition she looks like pony. She hadn't had any training but she is very smart and I am going to show her in hand. She lunges very well and we have only had her for about 3 1/2 months. She has gained weight and it looks like she has gotten taller, although she is four and that is about the time a horse stops growing. Thank you! )

The whole family has mainly only had Quarter Horses. There were some Welsh ponies and a Hackney pony @ one point back in the day(like before I was born) but ever since it's been Quarter horses (and throughbred quarter horse crosses).

Wow, GentleGiant! You can really see the mix of both breeds in there and it looks like she got some of the best of both! Very pretty.

Thanks! She's got the Arab body type but the crazy fluffiness of the Shetland. We recently shaved her though so you can't tell in those pics.

I have a white quarter horse he's the grandson (or great grandson) of Doc Bar. If anyone knows who that is, apparently Doc Bar was the like greatest horse of all time.

I just started but my choice was Thoroughbreds, mainly because I like racing type horses, especially that of a breed that is very popular. And some of the horses that I have seen in my life that are Thoroughbreds tended to be rather big horses. So I figured it was not only a popular choice, but one that I admired and found to my liking.
