[Known Issue][May 2025] Ongoing Performance Issues

Thank you to everyone who has reported issues within the game after the maintenance yesterday.

We would like to assure you that we're working to resolve these issues as soon as possible and ask for your continued patience while we continue investigating and applying fixes to the game.

I've listed a few of the most common issues below:
- Game lag,
- Game slowness,
- Delay in receiving password reset emails,
- Delay in receiving verification emails,
- Horse competitions becoming stuck "In progress"

Please know that the above list is not exclusive and is only the most frequent issues being encountered by our players.

Here is a new update on the current situation after the migration:

↪ Emails issue: Good news, the game is finally able to send out emails to almost everyone!
We are still having issues with Yahoo email addresses. The team is on it, but the rest is fine. You should now be able to confirm your email address or reset your password, for example. Please remember to check your spam folders if you haven't received an email in your inbox.

↪ Missing payment methods: The team is still working on getting Xsolla back as soon as possible. However, right now, we cannot guarantee that it will happen before the end of May Packs, unfortunately. Paysafe should arrive even later. We know how inconvenient it can be for some of you, and we are really sorry about that! Rest assured that the team is doing its best.

↪ Global compensation: We're still on it! The detailed amount and content will be finalized by the end of the week. Hopefully, we will be able to send it out next week.

↪ Test servers: The team is still working on it, hopefully they can reopen next week.

The team is also working on other issues, which are less visible to you, affecting our internal tools.

Step by step, things are getting back to normal.

↪ Test servers: Still work in progress and our #1 priority this week since we need to test features for the next update. We hope to be back up and running by the end of the week, but nothing is set in stone.

↪ Missing payment methods: We are still working on getting Xsolla back up. We know how inconvenient it can be for some of you, especially since May Packs are ending tomorrow. We are really sorry about that! Sadly, we can't guarantee it will be back up before the end of the week.

↪ Global compensation: We are still working on the final details. It will include a variety of items and resources to thank you for your patience during the bumpy migrations.

↪ Performance issues: We noticed an increasing number of reports signaling frequent blank pages, maintenance pages, and other display issues. It seems to affect multiple versions. We are investigating a bit deeper and will provide you with an update next time.

Here is an update on the current situation after the migration.

↪ Performance issues: We are aware that there are still some performance issues, affecting the French servers in particular and also the other versions. This is being investigated as a priority. However, the team still has some difficulties finding the origin of the issues. The metrics we have on our side don't reveal any performance issues, unfortunately.

To help the investigation, we could use more information regarding the issues you encounter:
• On what version?
• If there are specific times you are having issues?
• On what specific pages of the game?
• Screenshots could help as well.

Please share this information with us.

↪ Test servers: The test servers are back up and running (but only for FR, DE, and INT at the moment).

↪ Email issue: Emails should be working for everyone now (but might still land in your Spam folder). Please send a ticket to Support if you still aren't receiving emails.

↪ Missing payment methods: Xsolla is back now and should give you plenty of additional payment options. There is no update regarding Paysafe at the moment, as it isn't our priority.

↪ Global compensation: We're still on it, the detailed amount and content have been finalized. The developers will code the script when there is enough bandwidth - hopefully this week, but there is no guarantee.

There are also other issues the team is working on in the background, but things are progressively getting back to normal.

I think the numbers like for seniority the numbers for how many days registered are now correct. how far they moved up or down isn't calculated. now that they got the numbers right for today the moving up or down will be done tomorrow.

I am currently having issues with logging in on the desktop. My search history/caches were deleted and that’s when the issue started. However, I am also having issues with receiving a verification e-mail. I have sent a “contact us” / ticket.

I also noticed that when I tried to change my profile picture, it kept using the old one that I had, even after I selected delete… hence why I deleted my cache to then find I cannot log in lol.

Hey idk if this is also considered a bug but the Ascent of Olympus game has been... Eerily ruthless with the odds.

I understand that odds of 87o/o is not likely to work end game, but I have lost a majority of my games with a 90 win rate OR ABOVE and still lost, often very early game (often stage 1 or 2).

I understand this is a luck and strategy game but this really doesn't add up when I could win around 40o/o of my games in the previous set and now barely win 10o/o wifh the same odds.

If this can be looked into it would be highly appreciated. Otherwise, guess the odds don't like me this round XD

I haven't been on this game in yeeeears but I would like to ask why the website went so downhill? it was so much easier to navigate and know what you were doing back in the day default smiley :) or is this a problem that is also being worked on?

There are currently some lag issues that are affecting everyone.

As for ease of navigation, do you mean the actual layout? If so, you may be on the mobile version, which is very different to Classic. You can switch to Classic by tapping your player icon in the upper right corner and selecting "classic version."
Mobile devices usually auto direct you to the mobile version

Thought I'd post here to say that images are not working properly on my game as they keep being turned into words and the words they turn into seem to be in french. Not sure how common that or those issues are but my game has been like that for days on desktop.

On mobile the issue I've been having there is my auto feed amount selector isn't working consistently so even though I have the function enabled I've still had to select the feed amounts manually on some of my horses which does take a bit more time than is ideal for mobile.

Anyhow hopefully all the issues can get sorted out soon for everyone's sake, players and staff alike, as no one likes headaches and chaos like this.

Just noticed this... on my page they updated but I went to look at my points and it has me 15 places below where I actually am :/

It's not your computer, it's the game lagging. When doing actions, sometimes it will refresh and refresh and just plain slow!! They are supposedly working on it, but so far it's still the same slow slow Howrse default smiley :(

I'm also getting this notification on browser when I try to log in. To get around it I'm going to another server (eg Aus server) then changing the version back to international (via the flag dropdown menu).

It diverts me to this url and I can log in like normal.

-Rankings still not updating (last updated 5/19)
-When entering comps, some of the times posted on your horse's care page post backwards (Example:
---12:30: Swiped 27912.16T has participated in the Discos Dancing Fever Showjumping show-jumping competition. (energy: -10.8)
---14:30: Swiped 27912.16T has participated in the Ballistics Jumping show-jumping competition. (energy: -10.8)
---16:30: Swiped 27912.16T has participated in the Canterbury Jumps C*a*C show-jumping competition. (energy: -10.8)
Normally the times have the latest time posted at the top, not the bottom.)

Rankings now updating, when doing daily achievements they keep changing in the middle its just all so frustrating and issues are normally resolved quickly but this has been ongoing for a week now

I got the infamous "you may have seen something but it escaped" when clicking on an AP UFO earlier this morning. It's been a while since that happened but it was a new session and the ufo's from my gems worked as expected.

I still cant log in on my laptop. I am currently on the mobile version ON my laptop so I can just log in quickly.
cant do anything else. someone know how to log in on laptop? I'm about to quit I'm bored now default smiley :p

When loading the special horses page (for an objective) it is not switching from the regular horses to the special

I keep getting stuck by the cookies banner and "you've been inactive too long message."

I get around it by either logging in to the mobile first and then switching to classic, or I pull Howrse up in google, and click the howrse link from there. Or maybe try bookmarking one page of the game, and pull that page up to log in there.

As you're aware, all our servers were migrated in the past weeks.

This caused some issues, such as:

Low performance (lag, slowness);
Deleted horses' histories;
Unavailable payment methods;
E-mails from Howrse are not being received;
Inability to log in;
The daily objectives were reset;
Special horses are not providing their gift;
The Pieces of Cloud Pack from the May Packs are not working;
The ranking is not updated on some versions.

While some of these issues were already fixed, others are still under investigation.

Please note that our team is focused on resolving all reported issues. While we do not have confirmation regarding potential compensation, our team will assess compensation on a global scale after the issues are resolved.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate everyone's patience!

Also Acent Of Olympus information on profile is false. For me it shows that I have 900frags for Ares, but I already obtained him like 2 days ago. default smiley (ow)
