Wandering spirit

I have a community wandering spirit in my inventory but it wont let me get the specific coat that is visiting me

does the gregarious coat need a different wandering spirit BMI I really want to put it on one of my horses but not going to pay 100 passes for it

The Community Wanderer's Spirit item in your inventory isn't the one you get from the visiting Wanderer, it's just an item that works like all the other WS items (Greek Gods, Seas, Butterflies, etc.) you put it on a horse and it gives you a random pick of the options.

The visiting Wanderer's coat will be available for purchase for the 24-hour period the horse is in your farm, and it will be that specific coat, but you don't get it free, it costs 100 passes to buy. You don't have to buy it, though.
