Where did my 3 Greek Heroes horses come from?

Hi, I'm recently back after about a year of not playing. In one of my breeding farms I found three Greek Heroes horses (Atalanta, Ulysses, and Achilles). At first I thought they were just visiting my farm for a temporary event, but then I realized Ascent of Olympus is a more permanent thing and they're still in my farm.

Does anyone have an idea of how I got them? I can't remember if I did anything to win them before I stopped playing. The birth date on all of them is 10-14-2023. Are they horses that all users got at some point? Is the point of them only to enter into competitions because of their high skills? Or is it just to have some divine cards in the deck when you play the Ascent?

Thanks, I appreciate any responses

They all came from the promotional game Ascent of Olympus. To play the game, drachmas allow you to use playing cards of your own Divine horses. In order to play, you must have Divines, so the game gave everyone these 3 Divine horses in order to play the game.

The Ascent is a permanent feature, not a promotional game.default smiley :)

Players who complete the walkthrough to begin the Ascent are given the 3 Greek Hero Divines, so yes, everyone is guaranteed to have at least 3 divines to use for the Drachma games, where you can pick your own starting cards, based on the divines on your account. Some players throw them into competitions to farm equus, others ignore them.

I've noticed you got other divines, which can also be used for drachma runs. If you decide to play ascent, you want to aim for 18 across the board for the final level. default smiley (y) Obols pull from all divines on the game, while drachmas use divines you personally own.

To add as well, there is an entire forum section dedicated to the feature if you do decide to give ascent a try. There people share tips and discuss the feature.

To add another thing, they are great for competitions if you want to use them to make some equus.

The date on the banner is the date that the god switches over to a different one. default smiley (y)
