EC - Course layout/How it works

Hello!

I'm setting up the cross country and show jumping courses in my EC and I'm wondering what is the best way to start them off? Is it best to start low and work your way up or start high?

Does anyone have any information on where I could find course layouts for show jumping and cross country?

I know there are a lot of factors such as reserving it to a specific breed etc, but I just want to make some courses that will one day offer Rosettes to competitors and I would like to know what the best strategy is to get there!

Thank you !

start low and work up. don't have it for beginner horses or under 20 wins.

Thank you - How low would be enough to allow it to run frequently? I'm out of touch with the top skills of horses and wouldn't know what skill range to start off in

Check out Kvezal's EC forum for a wonderful guide on EC comps. I used their guide to build all 3 of my buildable comps. They have them set to max out the difficulty, but you can stop building at whatever point if you do not want the difficulty to be maxed. I would revisit the forum page to gradually build my competitions up to max difficulty as I bought hoses skilled enough to fill out my comps. I also had very helpful friends that aided in filling out my comps as well.

Comp frequency depends on the size of the track you have purchased, for gallop and trot. The XC, dressage, and jumping competitions remain once a day unless you purchase VIP, I believe. At that point, you can alter the frequency of those 3 comps.

— If you need help filling, I don't mind helping. So many kind players did it for me, so I'd love to repay the favor.

To add, I was about to fill out your comps and noticed two of them are below 30%, which I believe is the default you get when you first open your comp. For example, if you were to delete your gallop competition right now and restart it, the default prestige would be 30% with 0 editions. I would suggest restarting both the trot and dressage comps for this reason. You also haven't started your gallop completion yet, which is an easy one to start because it isn't buildable, you just select a difficulty, etc. and go.
