Poll

Not very good score, per usual. Just age old repetition of boring event after another...

Loved the BMI and amount of BMI I was able to accumulate. I always love when golden apples and harmony packs are prizes, and I got over 6 HoPs in the UFOs which was exciting too. Thank you! default smiley :)

I do quite enjoy the challenge and battle, but PLEASE listen to our feedback on the goal. You expect way too much of us and, as a result, we miss out on 25% of the prizes because the goal is often way too big for us to handle. 25% is a massive amount to take away, especially when it happens almost every time. We shouldn't have to buy the key just to stand a chance at reaching the goal. In my opinion, it should either be lowered or changed with the way it works, or even put in a system where, after so many failed attempts, we automatically complete the level when the festivities start.

I didn't mind the Great Challenge at all (I rather quite liked it, though I agree with Oathkeeper's opinion). What killed it for me was the Treats battle. In order to rank above the lowest ranking, I'm sure I would have had to give up every single BMI in order to obtain a Helios Ray.

In the treats, I received 6 Apollo Lyres (which I gave all away), 1 Achilles Heel, an Aphrodite's Tear, a Kairos Dial, and several Croseus Fortunes. I had an unlimited amount of 2* Western Saddle Blankets, a few Equus prizes, and 2 5-Aging Point groups.

Despite only keeping 3 BMI (AT, AH, and a KD) after the halfway point - once I realized how impossible the task was - and giving up the rest of the prizes, I wasn't able to progress beyond the Medusa's Blood. Imagine the frustration at trying to wake up at odd hours to make sure I was present for each rotation of the treats battle and only receiving 3 BMIS (4 after the MB) for all of that effort.

I don't know - maybe I was playing treats incorrectly or I'm just remarkably unlucky. But checking in 4 times a day for a week to *fight* for a Medusa's Blood seems unintuitive. I kind of wish it was less of a community challenge and more of an individual thing (as in: reaching a number of points individually to unlock items); at least the event wasn't long-lived.

Worse you will be in limbo not that i believe in it but stuck with giving up good prizes or even getting rid of cheap prizes and just missing even the wings( medusa blood). Mainly giving up all good prizes but not even getting wings or only wings. I do like them but happy with prizes i got like 2 harmony packs.

The Great Challenge is always so boring and this time there weren't even any good prizes offered so I didn't even bother with it. The Treat Battle is just annoying. All those ugly UFO's getting in the way of me trying to take care of my horses. I caught them as fast as I could and only kept a few of them as the rest were worthless. And still I think I ended up in the bottom ranking so why bother?! And I sure wasn't going to spend EQ on asking friends for help as the "help" didn't really do much. So now maybe a little break and it surely would be nice if Howrse didn't have events so close together. Let us just enjoy playing!

I don’t wanna complain about free BMI’s but all I’m doing is selling them lol I didn’t even get to see a harmony pack but I got 2 hops. I kept two bears and started keeping all the heels I was getting. Why did I get so many heels (like a crazy amount) but I only got my first 2 fertility wands on the last day? I got points for the lyres and arrows so I was able to get the Medusa’s blood. I traded a lot but didn’t go over the 148,000 trade.

Ended up going for BM items, it's impossible to progress and actually win the top prize. I was offered [NO] harmony packs or GA ever as a UFO. default smiley (o)

Can you offer ALL players the same UFO's?

Rinse and repeat of the Chronos Timer, Pets (we said we don't want pets as prizes EVERY time but this falls on deaf ears), Aging points, Kairos Dial, and Achilles heel. These were my UFO offerings.

I did pay for the premium key which was worth the pass price as I got items I actually wanted.

Overall NOT a very good contest and of course, it was cut short again with the time.

I seemed to have the bad luck of getting tons of aging points and mash in my UFO’s. Even with paying extra in trades the drop of BMI wasn’t comparable to what others were seeming to get. I did get some and I LOVED that! I actually got a Harmony Pack! But I don’t understand why things like Mash and Aging points are even considered prizes.

I stayed up till 11pm trying to get past the medusa's blood, and it seems like it would just be easier to just save up for a Helios ray by completing objectives. And Hermes Winged Staff shouldn't be so hard to obtain in the game. I would really like to get it, but I'm not going to donate my hard bred horses for an objective in a game when I could sell them and get something of greater worth in return.[I'm not saying these things are worthless, but why are they asking me to donate my only female uni???]

Forgot to add, I paid a small fortune to exchange my UFO's for better ones and rarely got anything decent.

It would be exciting for players if you could offer a brand new contest, not an old one recycled each time.

For the Treat Battle, I won the equivalent of prizes totaling 1920 passes, as well as 6 pets! I didn't even play in ever session, so I'm thrilled.

I agree completely with Oathkeeper! I love this game and the events but this is a recurring issue! Donating our horses should not be worth just 25 horseshoes and they shouldn't ask us to Donate expensive breeds , uni's, winged uni's, etc. This makes me feel like playing the event is pointless.

Great Challenge is a waste of time. No good prizes and way too hard to fill the wagon every day. So I didn't even bother to participate. The Treat Battle was, as usual, irksome. Nothing good in the way of prizes so not worth keeping but not much in the way of points when sent on to someone else. I still ended up in low numbers. Those ugly things flying all over were just annoying! Glad the event is done and please don't bring it back any time soon!

I really like events that encourage the player to log in to the game multiple times per day, but this event was pretty boring. The prizes were mediocre, and the event wasn't really horse related at all (that specific detail is not as important, I guess.)
I do kind of enjoy the UFO battle idea, but it just needs some work if it's going to come back in the future.

I didn't like the battle at all. Very boring, I got only 2 of the good gifts, the others I didn't even have the chance to win them from the UFO's, and these were the only that I kept. All the other UFO's I gave them away, but still this didn't help much, as my rank gave me only the medussa's blood

I can't actually really rate this event on a number scale because the horseshoe vs the battle are two very different things.

I like the horseshoes - little mini objectives with lots of different variety and options to accomplish. I could buy horses, I could enter competitions, do training - tons of different ways to play your game and still make progress. And the rewards were good, I love cosmetic options and rewards.

The battle, though? I managed to log in during every single UFO period except one while I was sick and sleeping excessively and missed one. Despite not having much money and not being able to reroll too much, I still progressed well, rank wise. But the value of the things I gave up to get those points seems much higher than that of what I ended up with even at rank 215. And 215 out of 10,000+? That should have felt more impressive than it did.

I agree with an above comment that the treat battles are extremely difficult to move up in. It should be a battle amongst ourselves instead of competing against the whole community. I never progress in the battles even though I rarely keep any of the items. I almost always trade them in for points but yet still do not progress well at all.

I really liked the GCH this time around, the gifts definitely kept me motivated to get all the horseshoes. The community achievement was a bit unfair, way too high.

I wish we were able to get some more fragments during the treats event. Honestly the trears is the event I like the least, you either need huge luck to get the nice things or a lot of money xdd. Didn’t even attempt to rank high, instead I stocked up on Dials and arrows.

I don't mind this promo, the challenge prizes were okay, I didn't bother with the extra passes and prizes this time as no Zonkeys possible.

The fight portion also saw a great haul of items I'll mainly use to exchange. Never been so lucky with getting so many bm items before!

Overall for a free promo you can't complain.

The divine was more costly and had to fill the metre. Had there been extra fragments in the bonus prizes, again I might have paid for the key.

While I find this event boring, I do love treats battle! I never go after collecting points, so I just stack up on prizes and get a lot of stuff I like
