HellOw everyone!

During Crazy Friday, running from November 22 to 25, we will be offering divine horses at a bargain price for the whole weekend!

There will be three different types of sales:

Reserved sales: Every eight hours, check out a new batch of horses in the Reserved sales tab. These horses will be available to you during this time only, with a limit of one purchase per horse, but you will have the possibility to buy one of each horse offered.

Direct sales: Different horses will appear throughout the day, but only one of each will be available. The fastest wins the sale! (Limited to one purchase every twelve hours)

Auctions: Place the highest bid in Equus to win the divine horse of your dreams! (Limited to one purchase every twelve hours)

All Crazy Friday sales will be accessible from a separate dedicated hub, to prevent any confusion with other sales happening at the same time.

⚠️ The full program of the sales will be shared when the sales begin.

Remember, the divines that are available in the sales are chosen randomly and the VIP auto-purchase perk will not be available during these special sales.

Cinnamon fragments

With every purchase made during Crazy Friday, you'll earn points that will help fill up a loyalty meter. Reach the different levels to get fragments of the divine horse Cinnamon.

I can't help but feel like the auctions aren't the fairest for newer players tbh, especially those who don't even have the seniority to access others. Crazy Friday is cool but I feel like it's only cool for the long term players who can actually afford to bid that much equus and not bat an eye. I do understand that the game has to make money through passes, though.

Hope so. Rose Gold was expensive, given how many passes I had. Maybe I'll get my hands on another Scandium or Osmium. But congratulations on a hard earned bidding battle.

These sales are more aimed at people that have a set up account and have taken the time to save. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, as those of us that save have done so for months, so it's nice to see our hard work lead to something. There is always next year and the following years, it's not just a one off thing. default smiley :) Those of that are experienced are also happy to provide tips about how to prepare and save up.

Unfortunately auctions are out of the their control because the players pretty much run those :/ They do put some affordable divines in reserved sales and direct sales, a month of objectives gets you 900 passes which is more than enough for some of them

It sucks a bit for newer players yea, but if you do some saving up you'll easily be able to get some divines next year. The sales are a good way to reward those who have been loyal to the game/support Howrse.

I think that's what the reserved sales are for, the auctions are more for the big-league players competing with each other. I never even participated before this year (in any capacity) cause I've never had that much reserve and never will. But it *is* possible to save up enough passes to get a Divine or two cheap in the reserves in a couple of months, so not impossible for newbies. default smiley :)

Anyone have a guess on how many passes Athos will be? Given the prize he gives I'm assuming he'll be one of the most expensive.

He was a little over 2400 last year in reserves.

These auction prices are a bit... atrocious really.

I know it is the first day, but still. Being able to afford them makes them no less expensive, and I am indeed batting an eye.
I am not even bidding on most of these but is Taranis really worth 50.7ME? Even Christmas ghost for 14ME isn't worth it to me. Each to their own I guess but some of it feels like gambler's high. I know for myself I have to set a (reasonable) price limit otherwise I really just can't stop, it is a bit concerning on my part.

I was hoping to grab both Scandium and Rain in auctions but I guess I'll have to choose. Is it just me or is everybody getting equus richer these days? It seems like every year I save up more, and then the bidding just gets higher than before. A bit of a step backwards but nonetheless, I am holding out on at least one from auctions.

Wishing the best of luck for everyone in auctions! default smiley (l)

For me, I don't mind spending a ton. I only really want a few from the auctions and directs, and as auctions are my main way to fill the bar, I need to spend a certain amount as my passes can't cover it all. I know it's very expensive for a bonus Cinnamon, but when you are already planning to spend a lot, you tend to forget about the cost. That said, I do have my limits and will back off after a certain point.

Has anyone posted a list of all the divines yet? I'd like to list them all and put what items they have so I can narrow down which ones I want to try for this year. default smiley :)

And here is my issue with the sales, the big gap between auctions now. I got Libra very recently, but many are active at this time, so why is there an almost 2 hour gap? Why are there so few auctions compared to the directs? When it started, there were 47 pages of directs, but only 17 pages of auctions.

Sometimes I wish there was a “this is how these things work” guide for beginners that was easily accessible for stuff like this. Either way, thanks for the explanation and advice! default smiley :d

There is a full program available for each sale type on the Flash Sale hub. Click the "see program" button.

If you're looking for prices in direct sales, there is a post on the previous page

These pass prices are usually much cheaper than what you would spend on luck items to obtain them.

of course if people realized their bids when there's anything less than 1 min left has ZERO chance of winning maybe the prices wouldn't be so high. Why do you bid when there's so much time left?
also if you realize you can up the bid 1e not 100,000e. maybe the prices wouldn't be so high.
all you do by bidding high early and bidding the "recommended amount" (especially super early) is 100000000% guaranteeing you are going to pay way more.

Scandium here :') Thought 30 mil would be more than enough only to see everyone bid over 50 mil + default smiley *-) Going to keep trying though because I'm not keen on getting both Osmium and Scandium from directs, would take them too long to pay themselves off default smiley (d)

Every auction I've been in has resulted in a massive bidding war, it didn't matter what the amount was at the time the 30 second countdown started. When multiple big budget players want it, it starting at 2 million instead of 15 million is not going to make a difference, it will keep going until the others back off and let one user win.

I got a metal for a little over 48.5 million, I was bidding against 3 or 4 other players, with there being very few massive leaps until the final minute or two. It wouldn't have mattered if we all waited until the last 30 seconds before we started bidded, as we all wanted it and we were all prepared to go until the point they backed off and I won it. That said, I backed off on another metal when it passed 50 million, with it not making big jumps until the final minute. In the end, it sold for between 60-70 million.

Bidding lower amounts doesn't work when the timer keeps resetting, it just results in a massive bidding war that will go on for ages.

The gaps on directs are a bit frustrating too default smiley xd I would rather howrse churn out more divines with less people buying then setting these 45 minute timers on auctions and directs.

but if it starts lower at the last 30 seconds maybe it won't end so ridiculously high
They should also limit how long the 30 seconds can last. That Rain that just sold. it hit the initial 30 seconds at 7:56:00pm EST. price 7.4 m. bidding ended at 8:03:39 with a bid of 20m. took over 6.5 minutes to do the last 30 seconds

i understand bidding the recommended amount at the end. that's not what i'm talking about. i'm talking about bidding the recommended amount or MORE when there's 20 minutes left anything less more than 1minute left. First why are you bidding then and why are you bidding so much? has there EVER been an auction in these where bids made any earlier than the last minute that WON? That wasn't in the last few minutes of the last day of the auctions. again by bidding early and the recommended amount the only thing that guarantees is that you will pay MORE. not that you are going to win the auction. but that you will pay MORE.
