[Event] Mazes: Interstellar spaceship

Mazes

The Mazes event is back with 7 mazes to complete. Can you find a way out? Let's find out!

The paces gauge stays common to all mazes, and won't fill up when you enter a new maze. This system was implemented during the previous edition, and has been kept so that the event is fairer for all players. However, the contest balance has been adjusted so that this edition is not more difficult to finish than previous ones. Thus, there are only 7 labyrinths against 8 before.

Since I can only play on the app (vacation):

Can we win a A. Medal or P. Stone?

And I hear people talking about silver and gold prices. How do you see that, they are all red for me.

Okay this was very nice of them to do and I'm not sure if this is new to this installment:

I missed the Kaeru pet and moved back about 7 paces to get it since it's the last I need for the Daruma collection; and apparently Howrse set up a system where if you get backtracked they'll give you a few treats (3) and a spyglass to help you get un-lost.

It wasn't enough to cover my whole backtrack so I don't recommend getting "lost" to try and get free moves (I also don't know if it'll activate more than once) but it's nice to know they've considered that people have a lot of difficulty completing this event due to mistakes/trouble reading the map and accounted for it. default smiley :)

It is extremely frustrating to play this game on mobile because you have no idea which way you're going. You can't "hover" over anything and the arrows make no sense. You can click on one and it take you one way and then click on the same one later and it take you the total opposite direction. And every time they have Darumas as prizes, it's the same few. We're never going to finish our collections if they don't offer different ones. Not a fan of this event.

It's easier to play on a phone/tablet if you use the mobile version rather than the classic view. I hate the mobile version of the game, no idea how to use it to care for Horses etc but the map for this promo is simplified so it's definitely a better option. Just switch back to classical to do everything else. I just use the mobile site online, I don't have the app.

Switch to classic view for doing the event.

I hate the mobile version of this event with a passion too, it's so disorientating, while the classic version is far more intuitive to me. (I do just hate mobile/app howrse in general, only use is for dragon divines).

I love the graphics for this event!

Does this seem slower than usual or is it just me after having just finished a super slow event?

The pace is the same as prior mazes, getting one pace every 2 hoursdefault smiley :).
We've never been able to get extra paces from doing daily actions.

Players have been posting what gifts they've found in the different tiles. You can do a page search within this topic of the particular tile you're looking for.

Can someone please explain to me how 2 (TWO) aging points are considered a silver tier prize?
A measly ten seems like the least offensive minimum.

Maybe they are going off of the pass value in the Black Market (9 per, meaning 18 total) which is around the same pass price as a Hypnos' Blanket.
But the cost in the Black Market is absurdly high (personally I wouldn't spend passes on points, and definitely not more than one per) so it doesn't translate well to user value. Then again they have 5,000 Equus as a silver prize, which isn't a whole lot to any established player, so...

i think the prize order in the list for each maze is the order for each type of prize that you can find them. I am going for prizes and gotten everything so far and they've come in the order on the list. I'm on maze 3.

The prize tiers vs the actual value of the prizes has been off for a LONG time, unfortunately. They're almost certainly going off the Black Market value since admittedly "how much do the players value this at" is subjective, but it's still very widely opinionated that 9 passes for one age point is absurdly high.

C7 on map 3 was the first horse-related (instead of the first two, which were trivia) shortcut (hay bales). not sure if that's randomized - I don't think it was previously? - but in case it helps. Hestia (divine, riding unicorn) could get through, honestly I'm not sure what horse type *wouldn't* get through it besides like, a foal maybe?

I agree that 2 aging points for a silver prize is insulting. Regardless of their pass price, the game regularly asks us to use 9 aps at a tine for daily objectives. A silver prize shouldn't be less than 1/4th of a single daily objective. :/

Not to mention you can get two APs+ just as UFOs quite consistently...

I think you meant Map/Maze #3 as posted above by another player.

Map/Maze #2 doesn't have a gold prize.
