5 years old and already has 40 first place wins. He is on hold for finishing his training because I let board expire on some of my horses yesterday so my lessons fell from .099 to .098 so I have to wait for the lessons gain to go back up before I finish him. *pouts*
Varon |
Just picked up this pretty thing from the PS already BLUP'd and ready to go. I'm thinking I'm going to breed her to a high GP Marwari stud. Anybody got any other ideas?
|
zeph - That little horse is a comp monster. o____o I've never had a horse get that many wins at that age.

Zanna_Girl,
thats a beautiful coat she has. What skills are you trying to breed for? |
Speed. >> Paint or something would be an obvious choice, but I'm trying breeds and crosses I've never done in the past and pure and cross Paints are really up there in the GP.
|
Yikes! Marwari's have high Gallop, not speed! *facepalm*
|
Shifting Waves is all finished.
Will be number 4 for Jumping in the Friesian Ranking after update. Will go higher with a bit of clouding.

Yep, Marwari probably is not the best choice if your looking for speed. Paint is probably the way to go. I have a Paint stallion that would be willing to help you out if you are interested but your best bet would probably be the public covers. Last time I looked there were some better Paint Stallions on the public list then the one I have. Of course you could think about breeding her to a Quarter/Paint cross. Get some good speed and gallop out of that.

good job Clematis.
|
I was mixing Marwari up with a different breed. >> Thanks for the offer and tip.
|
Brumby. That's the World Tour breed I was getting it mixed up with.

Brumby's have nice speed but they would really eat away at your dressage.
|
Thank you zepharo!
Varon is looking very good! Is he going to be available for covers when he is finished. Because I have a mare or two who look to be interesting matches.
|

I might let a cover or 2 go from him.
|
Oh goody! *does happy dance*
I will let you know who is most interesting after I crunch the numbers for a bit!

it will still be a few days before he is ready so no hurry.

Lady Leurona - Wow! What an unique combination.

I deleted my previous account, but I was going to start a program where you cross Arabians and Paints, and another crossing Arabs and Quarter Horses. There were no Marwaris . . . I'll have to check them out in a few days.
|
Clematis, I know! He's a bit unique and I will hopefully be able to put him up for stud eventually. He had a pile of inborn skills, which is why I snatched him up to begin with.
