Oh look! I was a trophy hunter and now it looks like lots of my progress is gone! Whoo! I'd happily give back all of the rewards and my left arm to go back to the old interface. I don't know what I'm doing anymore!
I'd arranged all of my trophies and it made my page look pretty nice! And now there are nameless medals! Why are we celebrating what we're doing with our divines?!?!

I'm unclear as to why I'd want to spend more passes on this game finishing trophies that we can't even see.....think ya really shot yourself in the foot there Howrse.

Now Ladies and Gentlemen, if you will direct your attention to the Horse Sales you can see everyone purging their past collection horses that are now deemed useless thanks to the update.

I personally love this change, I never really cared for the trophies, so this has given me reason to care. I fully understand why people are upset though, this could have been added to the game in a way that didn't hurt anyone, the best way probably being to keep the trophies as they were and have this put under a separate achievements tab.

Well the past decade of my life was a waste.... So much time, equus/passes, BMI gone out the window. Unbelievable.... Not only did it ruin my drive to collect and progress in the game, but now SO MANY of my horses have become worthless

I already did several hours ago but they will just be sending a canned message pretending like they actually care.....and then nothing will happen.

On top of that, players have posted several pages of complaints and not 1 admin has shown up.

Yeah, they don't care about us or our hard work or anything. I caved and put Tarpan on my game and had a brief moment of "oh wait now I'm a step closer to the trophy" before remembering... I'm not. That trophy doesn't exist anymore.

But, he might as well be there. I'm not going to be a coat collector anymore as there's no point, so it truly doesn't matter.

They really did make playing this game utterly and completely pointless. I'd quit the game and sell off all my stock, but what's the use? None of it's worth anything now.

Too late considering I suggested in the vip forum a WHILE ago to have prizes for getting trophies. Of course this was NOTHING like what I suggested besides the prizes.

^the prizes they are giving aren't even worth the time and money that goes into trophy collecting.

Plus the trophies now are all time and seniority based. There's no goal to accomplish or a reason to purchase horses anymore

90% of the server could spam the Howrse team and they wouldn't change a thing

The Special Horses page was only added within the last couple of years and is already in the mobile style, so I don't think that'll be up for a revamp for some time yet (knock on wood)

I will literally knock on every tree I see for the rest of my life if it means they keep it the way it is.

They're making EVERYTHING ugly, the least they can do is keep the special horses page as pretty as ever

I haven't even been able to focus my thoughts enough to explain how frustrated I am with the new trophy update.

Yup. I mean, yeah, there's the Collections which do still benefit your game except now it's an "all or nothing" deal. No staggering where you can slowly progress as you go along, it's either you have ALL of it or you have nothing. Which makes most of it too hard to be worth doing. I don't even know why they included the RA Collection which is physically NOT possible to achieve.

Oh, and GA coats? Absolutely worthless. 100% garbage now, they do NOTHING for your game because you have to put them on yourself for the trophy, and there's no collection for them. I guess if you want the little skill bonus? But it's depressing to think of all the players who are going to lose revenue because they were mostly selling to collectors.

Baffled by why Howrse thinks this was a good financial decision or something that'll generate income for them. I know *I* have nothing really to spend on anymore.

That is such a good point. I have no desire to buy any rare horse at this point because why would I? Unless it's a ranker, it's pointless. The new trophies feel so centered around getting us to log in daily, which I get, that's how howrse gets their money but this is insane. Was this really the best howrse could come up with?

If my rank is completely tanked tonight, I'm giving a very long detailed letter to howrse about how they messed up, why they messed up, some ways to fix it, and a long winded scolding because apparently the one making these decisions are children who can't read

Pretty disappointed with the new trophies page. I loved seeing all the trophies I busted my butt off for the these past years. I was finally able to get the zodiac trophy when I bought one of the Christmas Packs, and was super excited when I got the trophy. Now, it feels like all that hard work went straight down the drain. Now it's just star medals.

Nice job Howrse, you just made a lot of players mad and don't even care.

I just noticed the coat colors trophy and companions trophy moved to collections

yeah no just demolish the achievement of my last year of trading and all working on those that's all good. I also have 1,189 horses sitting by of extra pets/coat colors from that to sell to eventually get colors/pets I didn't have but I guess their value just dropped more than all the effort I spent collecting those.

makes me cackle to see Yggy still as a trophy though the priorities are astounding

Maybe for the next dev update I should just purge half of my belongings because based on the trend, most stuff just gets destroyed afterwards

Honestly, I hate this new change. I enjoyed seeing the trophies that I had achieved on my page. I could look at the trophy page and see what to focus on next. I also had them ordered how I liked it.
I spent a lot of time, equus, and passes to complete those trophies. Nice to see that I wasted my time on that. I originally started my game collecting GA and RC coats. Nice to see that my GA collection means nothing now, too.

Lesson one on making money: Keep your costumers happy.
Seriously, I have exactly zero reasons to ever buy passes now.
What's the point of collecting a full set of Divines?
What's the point of Hera's Lillies?
What's the point of Helio's rays?
What's the point of collecting coats?
What's the point of buying special coats? (Wanders spirits, RCs, etc.)
What's the point of this game now???

They COMPLETELY missed what we as players value. I've come back after an eight-ish year hiatus and this is by far, the WORST change ever. And this is coming from someone who likes the Zonkeys!!

Another thing to note is most of the trophies are divine centered, which doesn't favor newer players or players who didn't/couldn't collect those particular divines when they were offered. They should add some of the gameplay, species, coat, breed, etc. related trophies back so it's more fair.

Also, is anyone else worried what the rankings will look like after update time? I've spent so many hours of gameplay working on my trophy ranking (it was the first ranking I was able to make progress with back in the day)

Funny thing is.. I bought an olympus pack to get gold, who was the last divine I needed of the metal series. Glad to know 2 weeks later it was a completely useless purchase

I have never cared all that much about collecting trophies, but even I hate this. Trophies influenced the horse sales so much and I'm scared to watch the value of rare coats and other trophy horses tank after this. I can't imagine this being a good thing from Howrse's perspective either. People spent real money on collecting for trophies and now it won't be worth it to do that anymore and a lot of coat colors might not be selling for passes in the sales. I hope they finally listen to the players and reverse this change.

And what's with this divine you can't get rid of that ruins coat collecting?? Who thought that was a good idea?
