As a collector, I DO understand that things have been split up between two pages. It took me a second of navigating cause the layout is so bad, but yeah, I see that most stuff is still there.

Keyword.

MOST.

They actually wiped (NOT moved. WIPED) a bunch of our progress, some of which was NOT cheap. Helios Ray trophies? Gone. Worthless now. Anyone who spent however many passes collecting those? Cheated out a TON of money and time. GA coats by color and species? GONE. Retired coats (except for the joke of a collection which is impossible to obtain)? GONE.

These are NOT minor either. These were trophies that cost people upwards of hundreds of passes just for them to be deleted in blow. So yeah, collectors are mad. Why WOULDN'T we be mad. If you'd spent that amount of time and money only to have it all deleted from the game, you'd be mad too.

(Please note though my frustration is with Howrse and this change, not with you personally. I just think it's glib to chalk up people's anger to ONLY not understanding the layout. I understand the layout, but this is about a lot more than that. And what's worse, it's never going to rectified, ever.)

I like new trophies page. Its seems nice & fresh. Still not great, but not so bad, how someone thinking

My, what a change. I'm not a collector, so I'm not going to dabble into the problems with the collection and stuff, as many others have discussed this already. However, I just have to say, this is so... ugly. It looks so bad, and so cheap. I just don't understand why they felt the need to remove all the pretty trophy icons and put in those ugly medals? I mean, it just doesn't make sense, they even made new trophies for the new divine series not long ago, and then they just deleted all of that? They were already there, why delete them? Sure, add rewards, change how the trophies work, but don't delete the pretty icons. I just don't understand the point of this, I was already put off by the artstyle of zonkey divines, and I'm not happy to see that another thing got reworked into the same artstyle. Putting aside how this update obviously made many people unhappy, I hope this is not howrse starting to transition into this new, cartoonish artstyle. It really does not suit the game in my opinion.

does anyone know which companions count for the trophy? As far as I know, only those of the 33 divine creatures count. And what about the others?
The same question applies to the special coats, which special coats count for the trophy? According to the collection of special coats I have 15, but with me only 33% are shown at the trophy so 10 special coats. I already had three couts and yesterday I gave 12 horses a coat. So that I brewed today only two special coats, theoretically, practically I have given today four couts to the horses, but I am still missing five according to trophies.
What actually counts for the golden apple? Are there also limitations there? Does anyone know all this?

What are the odds that todays GP problem is due to these changes.

apparently I completed a few medals, enough to get the dreaded tarpan (oof) and 2 HoPs. which ones? who knows! what reward is next? don't ask us!

honestly, I knew it would be bad based on the spoiler topic discussions, but I'm absolutely *flabbergasted* that this is supposed to be the IMPROVED version of this "fun feature".

I'm honestly devastated by the new trophy update. I put in so much time and effort into my collection and it all feels for nothing. I used to be active in teams and breeding but I've since cut back and was only sticking around for trophy hunting but now? What's the point? Most of the new trophies feel like they center around getting me to log in daily and not actually collecting.

Rest in peace coat, pet, and all those inbetween collectors; I'm sorry Howrse failed you.

...I just noticed the Iris Coat trophy is completely gone. I hope that was just an oversight and they'll put it back in eventually, cause that's ANOTHER trophy I spent hundreds of passes on, for my Violet.

It doesn't make any sense to remove it, either. Everything they scrapped Collections for is now completely valueless so what was the point.

You can always put it in the Safe Haven. (Unless they've changed that, too. )

Issues with the update are pretty consistent,

We liked the old system

We hate the new medals

Too many clicks and too much scrolling and difficult to navigate

We worked hard on things that don't exist as achievements anymore

We lost footing in the rankings due to things we achieved not counting anymore

The new medals don't tell us what we achieved

They aren't pleasing to look at and don't tell us anything on our profile pages

Confusing how to achieve medals and what medals are available to achieve.

I have to say I'm firmly in camp against it. I agree that we were due for an update, but it could have been done so much better. This update has destroyed so many things I loved about this game.

@Crescent - Unfortunately, you can't. Which, admittedly, does kinda make sense cause it would prevent newbies from sticking a Divine in the Safe Haven (or someone misclicking) but it also has the effect of making it so you're stuck with them.

...Maybe a new Repopulation event where you can get rid of ONE Divine and one Divine only...?

Unfortunately, you can't put special horses in the Safe Haven anymore..

Ive had this account for a couple of months.i will say that I did really like the rewards I received with this update. It does motivate me to collect more trophies and collect rewards. Maybe I don't understand this game too much, but I honestly have nothing to complain about. But I also have a pretty new account. So maybe that's it.

Yeah I mean the rearward are nice but the old interface is much better. I’d give up both divines, especially the prehistoric one, to go back to the old way

Terrible update. The retired coats page is actually laughable. You're giving me a percentage of every single RC in the game (thousands upon thousands) and say my meter is 0% even though I have dozens of RCs? Many of those are only in 1 or a few copies, like from many years ago, and get this, some of them are only owned my Ow himself (take a look at Ow's breeding farms if you don't believe me)! It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to fill all or even a significant chunk of that meter.

Giving me Tarpan for free? Normally I wouldn't complain about getting a divine for free but Tarpan is worse than useless. Those of us who like to collect coats can no longer rely on the regular % chances to get the rare coats when we breed. THIS. SUCKS! I do not collect horses bred by other people; I collect horses I breed myself. I like the challenge of trying to birth every coat for every breed. Now, it looks like this is going to be utterly impossible thanks to this stupid update. I can't even get rid of Tarpan because you made it impossible to sell him to the Safe Haven.

The new medals or trophies or whatever you want to call them that show up on our profiles now are ugly and make no sense. You can't even click on them to see what someone has in their collection. BOOOOO.

These are just a few major qualms I have with this update. Don't feel like typing more. But I agree with what most others are saying above.

Do NOT give them ideas
