With the old trophies, you could visually TELL what was needed to get somewhere. And you knew you would get a (mostly) beautiful trophy once achieved.

With the current percentages, I have zero idea what the exact numbers required to level up even are. And with the current medals, why would I WANT to stick those on my profile?

Why should I want to spent money and passes trying to rise in the trophy rankings when I DON'T KNOW how much I will actually have to spend and do to reach x target?

What is my motivation supposed to be?

I reiterate from previous posts of mine; the odd BMI here and there does NOT make up for the beautiful, easily understood trophies that were taken away from us with this update (read: downgrade).

^ To add on to my previous post: Now, instead of getting a NEW trophy to display, you just grow the number under any one of the four sad-looking medals as you gain new trophies. Howww is that supposed to motivate us? How is that supposed to be a goal anyone would get satisfaction from achieveing?

That's correct. Except for the official messages Admins send to every player via Private Message.

And to answer the following question, any kind of community there is DEAD.
I heard from a mod friend that basically nothing happens anymore, nobody reports anything (and not because it's not happening, but because they don't KNOW they can go to a mod because who's going to tell them?) and the community is basically dead in the water.
It's honestly a bit sad to watch.

It appears that it is keeping track of droppings, even ones you use. I stopped caring for my plants temporarily to test it and at 99200 (so 200 for each of my plants) the 100000 droppings trophy registered despite being 800 short.

The companion one also only goes up to 150 currently, a gold.

So Nalu do you think those sites will just dissolve? Quite awhile ago, I attempted to play on another site but very, very few people were in the forums. I felt like I was in a Ghost Town so I quit.

I don't know what Discord is and frankly I don't care.....or do I care about any other social media site. Any and all information about the game should be found and discussed HERE on the game by Admin or the "Powers to Be".

It's sad how little desire I have to play this game anymore. It seems like new players are offered all the incentives & bonuses while old players are just treated like trash and thrown by the wayside. Not to mention fixing things that were never broken in the first place. I just don't understand how they think they are "improving" the game by running senior players who have supported the game with THEIR money for years off of it. I've never put a dime into this game and I'm frustrated so I can't imagine how those people feel..... It's just so disappointing, really.

I am still checking back and waiting for some kind of official statement... nothing. We are truly worthless to them. I am so sad and heartbroken. This game has been with me through my entire childhood and now as an adult. It would break my soul into pieces to say goodbye to this game, or to see it destroyed. I urge the devs to remember what happened to the last game where they ignored players concerns. I'd hate to see a repeat of Babydow.

I mean... I don't think all of them will dissolve, Lowadi for example has been around for AGES and has a big following, but the smaller versions yeah.
Just last year players were migrated to this International server from 2-3 servers that closed in March, so...

I am still dissapointed about the Helios' Ray throphy being removed.

The first thing I did on my account on the Dutch server was removing the ugly medals from my profile.

I don't get how they calculate these trophy rankings. My general ranking continues to fall and I have lost another 15 places in trophy ranking. I have 4 diamond trophies and 12 gold. I have rarely seen others with that many of those. I don't even know what I can do to improve my rankings. It is very frustrating!

I don't know if it's just me, but I keep hovering my mouse over the Trophy bars to see "The actual number" of how far I am on the specific trophy (without success of course), like a delusional one-trick pony

I've resorted to using a calculator... Apparently I have put 91.2 companions on horses

I'm honestly just shocked they didn't do more extensive testing of this before releasing the update. It's completely unprofessional and they're now going to have to do some serious changes/updates to even make the system functional!

The trophy ranking just counts the total number you have.

I think the issue with the rank is that so many people now have the same number of trophies (there were dozens of others with the 98 count I had the first day), that it's difficult to get any higher because we're tied, but Howrse doesn't actually rank us as tied. I don't know how they determine the order when people have the same amount of something.

The "Latest trophies obtained" block does not update correctly.

Pretty much. I've known for a while they only care about pass buyers and everyone else can go die in a hole as far as they're concerned, I've come to terms with that, I mean, I'm not paying for the game so while I can certainly voice my frustrations I know it's all just going into the echo chamber.

But this proves that not only do they not care about people who don't buy passes, they don't care about their senior players at ALL. Nalu93 explained it; it's cause older players who have been on collecting Divines for years and years eventually get to a point where they don't need to buy passes, so they don't. All the money's in newbies, so that's where they're going to focus and who they're going to try to attract.

So, yeah, they really do just consider us all expendable trash. I'm only sticking around cause of my Icelandics and donkies, and maybe just a little bit out of spite. But I probably won't last much longer.

It's just a random list of trophies you've earned and trophies in progress. It doesn't update cause it's not even supposed to give information. I have no clue why they included that, it's obnoxious and doesn't help, but that's Howrse decisions for you.

Like you'd expect it to actually show your most recent trophies, and the ones you were the closest to meeting the requirements for next

I've all, but officially quit this because its awful. Hopefully it'll get better, but I doubt it will. Either way I'm making my own horse breeding game and learning what not to do from this site

I just realized the "classic coats" are organized by the worst possible way. They aren't alphabetized or even organized by species, they are by date the breed arrived on the game( I think). It's the ONLY place on howrse anything is like that, probably because it's a terrible idea.
