Maybe try a cachebclewr and separate browser to see if that works? My filter works fine. I can elect and deselect the different bonuses and the appear and disappear as they should.

I think Susan means the compound companions, those always stay at the top

My Divine pages haven't changed at all. The new companions box was added on the bottom right of the page so I don't even see it unless I scroll.

Here's my page set-up:
Left side: Care, Mission, Rides. Comp blocks
Right side: Interaction box, Breeding, Training, History, EC blocks. New companion box went under EC so I don't even see it.

On a regular horse (pony draft etc) I do see the companion box on the bottom right but as I do actions the history box expands and the companion box disappears.

I had mine on the left below care, mission, and EC for aesthetic reasons. On some horses I like to see the companion, and some I don't. I definitely don't want an empty box wasting space for horses I'll likely never put a companion on

I moved it to the bottom so it's out of the way now, but I'd like to move it for specific horses. Otherwise the cute companions are wasted cuteness if I can't see them

I really, really hate the new numbering system for the Greek Gods. I'm sorry, but if I cared about what number my divine was, I would go through the pages of divines myself. I absolutely hate this change!!

Does anyone know, if you "change companion", does the companion go into your stock and can now be used on a different horse?

No if you change the companion the old one is lost forever, it does not go back into your inventory.

1. Really hate the god numbering system. All it does stress us out, making us spend as much money as possible to get the lowest number possible for the better stats to be able to do better in the comps with them, which is their only use anyway. Any of them (and the wilds, chimeras, pets) that are below the top 20 are pointless when it comes to comps or anything, so they just sit around doing absolutely nothing except counting towards the trophy. Why make so many of our horses totally and completely useless (and significantly more expensive), and especially taking horses we already have and making them worse? People on budgets (most everyone) get the worst horses, which decreases the enjoyment of the game. I know many people who have already quit due to this sort of thing, and I'm on the verge of quitting as well as this keeps getting worse and worse and worse. The same divine should be the same across the board unless there's an equal to everyone method of levelling it up like the Egyptians and Prehistoric horses (wake up, scratch the card, get skill points). They should be completely equal other than that. The numbering system is completely unfair and biased to the rich players with no life who spend all their time in the first hours a new horse is put up to get them to get the top horses. Real people have lives, jobs, different time zones, budgets, etc.

2. What's the deal with the gigantic and obnoxious green plus button in the companion section, with the giant bright blue banner screaming new? It's so annoying and distracting for a feature that is not new. We've had companions for years without it screaming at us if we don't have a companion on a horse. What horses I choose to put companions on is my choice, not the game's, I do NOT need to be screamed at to be made to put a companion on a horse that I don't even want one on. I'd move the box to the bottom of the page where I never see it, but the ones I do have companions on, I want to see them. I don't want to be screamed at with all the horses I don't have them on. This may just be the final straw to me quitting. This is so obtrusive and annoying that I can't help but see that instead of anything else. It's extra annoying because that button is like 5 times the size of the buttons for feeding (choosing the amounts), training (times), applying any other bm or bonus item, saving our notes, repairing/upgrading boxes, planting in the meadows, etc., which are are all so blasted small it's difficult to even use them without clicking the wrong thing or missing entirely. I do not understand the mindset of the devs anymore. Nothing makes sense anymore.

I hope in the future they add more box-collapsing settings. Some of the older ones can be collapsed, but if the new ones could as well it would fix a lot of the care page setup issues people are having. Personally I use companions often and don't mind the box since it's smaller than the one for simply having a companion, but I can see how it's blocking the history for a lot of people. Same thing with the giant ranking boxes for specials.

They actually don't get better stats for being numbered. I just double checked mine, which was born much later and not numbered, vs the 1 Hestia and it has the same stats. So there really is no benefit to them being numbered.

The new companion thing is stupid, and it ruins the aesthetics of my horse pages. Please get rid of it!

Companion box would be perfect if the "change" button, worked like a cogwheel on simplified training/autocomp
I'm not sure if it works like that or if my page is bugged, but displaying a word "change" next to a companion I like the look off, is a bit silly.
They could've at least put it underneath so it blends with the general design better.


Ideally right next to another button that lets you collapse it permanently, for specific horses.

Some horses I love the companions of, but if I could never lay my eyes on the monster companions I've given to my divines to complete collections, that would be just lovely


As for numbering of Ascent divines, I don't mind it (and neither of my previous divines have qualified, so I might just take it slow with Apollo as well) just. Whatever floats your boat dear devs

Why do I have several divines that are missing their pets when I specifically put my collection pets on divines to avoid accidentally selling them??

Not happy with this update at all. I KNOW they had pets because I went through that farm multiple times to make sure that they each had a different pet that counts towards the collections.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Sure, the ability to search for pets with a specific bonus is nice, but if it's going to cost me multiple collection pets then I'm not interested

Also, please get rid of the rankings box thing on Hestia's page. There's literally no point in it other than making me take longer to work her (ruining my muscle memory) and making competing a pain. That's a change that I am not happy about. I mean, I can understand the reindeer box because players probably want to know if they have a chance to win passes, but the box on Hestia's page is useless and pointless. The chimeras/wilds don't bother me because I just feed/groom/bed them anyway, but I actually work Hestia so I'm far from happy about the unnecessary change. Where can I "uninstall" this downgrade??

And where do I go to vote these specific changes down?? Not the general/overall change - these specific irritating aspects that detract from my game experience or make playing this game a pain.

I love the changes to companions. It is so handy seeing how many have and what their bonus is. It makes it a lot easier for me to give companions to my horses

Well, yet another thing that was done that had no reason to be changed. I am among those who hate the new companion button with my horses. I mean, why? Seriously, why was this added?

It was fine how it was.

I knew if I wanted to add a companion or not. I don't need this whole separate other box showing me that my horse doesn't have one.

Oh great. Today, suddenly the box placement of almost everything on my horse pages is totally and completely messed up. Thanks so much Howrse for completely messing up everything for me. I'm short on time tonight and now, thanks to this change, I'm only going to be able to work 1 horse instead of the 20 I was planning on because now I have to hunt for everything I need to do.

Popping back in here to say that the companion box is driving me nuts.

Please make this optional at least, or get rid of it. I'm sure the extra click or two going back to the old way isn't going to give anyone an aneurism, especially since that's what we do for every other black market item.

And since I'm here I might add that I still haven't gotten over the trophy rehaul. At all. Whatsoever. Still mad. Very upset. Etc., etc.
We may have stopped complaining but that doesn't mean we're happy, it just means we realized that we were shouting into the wind.

While I like the new search for companions, I don't see why it needs to be on the horse's page - why isn't it on the black market page? (That plus sign is rather ostentatious...)

I also do not like the placement of the companion button.

It as though the horse is not boarded in an EC when I look at it and it's distracting. I'm spending time to look at each horse to ensure they are boarded.

Why was this a necessary change? It ruins the continuity of the game.

We, the players would respectfully request USEFUL changes that improve the game. This is another unnecessary change.

Why can’t the new change to the companion sorting system just be reached via the BM+ button, where we used to be able to see all the companions we had anyway? The pop up window’s practically the same anyway. No need for this annoying, ridiculous box that is literally in the way, and also feels like the game devs are screaming at us to “put a companion on this horse already”.

So is there any talk about replacement of the companions we lost in this update? I know not all of my divines had companions, but most of them did. Now it seems like every other one is missing one. I guess on the plus side is I might get a new trophy for adding companions again. Really not that worth it though.

I do like the sorting thing on searching for companions to add, but could definitely wish for the big blue button to go away.
