@ Arabians are best I've always thought the Facebook giveaways were sort of odd because Howrse tells us not to share any private information and then we're encouraged to go over and comment on a post with our personal accounts? and lets be honest some people don't set their privacy settings well... just saying

On the other hand its good the mobile version is being worked on and made more user friendly for the people that use the mobile version however, I won't use my phone to play Howrse unless I can't access my computer and if I do use my phone I switch to the classic version immediately.

I think someone else said to dust off the youtube channel, that sounds like a brilliant idea.

Instead of being gung ho about mobile - do NOT forget your loyal base that plays on PC - if it weren't for those Owlient would've sunk long time ago

How can you do so many updates for the EC but not change the one thing we repeatedly ask for? So sick of repairing 20 boxes at once when you have to do it 500+ times

I wish they would make it so we could remove enhancements from boxes and meadows without having to destroy them. I know it's probably like this to prevent you removing them from a filled box or an in progress meadow, but this could be gotten around by simply not allowing you to do that while they are in use.

Literally! Plus only allowing 6 meadows under cultivation at a time. This should be increased for the boxes you have.

I would like to see us being able to put more meadows to use, but it should be based on prestige if that happens, having it based on box amount would be unfair to those of us that focused on quality instead of quantity.

I understand that many players use the mobile version (although I'm not one of them) and some/all of these changes/updates may make the game more user friendly for those who do, but I can't help but feel that most of the changes made lately have been focused on mobile alone.

I feel as if the game is moving away from the classic/PC/browser version entirely.

the fact of the matter is, this game when played pretty hardcore is done by adults who will accept that it is there own mistake if they do this. So they really should be accomodating for these small improvements, especially keeping in mind that adults have jobs and minimal time and cannot spend 5 hours fixing their EC and modifying all the needs.

Simultaneously, my prestige is low because I let everybody and anybody into my EC no matter what and this also means I need to cut costs on certain things and cannot maintain boxes and meadows WELL for the amount required given the size of my EC. I need more meadows as I often end up loosing money if I have to buy from the shop. Minimal boxes should mean minimal items that need to be produced.

I fully appreciate the fact that it costs a fair amount to keep thousands of boxes stocked with benefits and in good working order, but having that many boxes is a choice. I don't have over 100 as I have too much going on in my life to maintain that amount of boxes, plus the resources, while also fitting time in to blup and work my divines.

I feel that, as long as you stay on top of your boxes, you shouldn't get into a position where you suddenly have to repair the whole lot in one go. Luckily, boxes haven't self destroyed in years, the message is just really outdated, so there is no harm in letting them get to 100% wear and tear if you fall behind, they will still be there for you to repair when you get around to it.

That said, it would be nice to have a "fix all" option.

They could chose to code 2 versions, one for the mobile games and one for the PC players..... But it's far easier and cheaper to just give both segments the same platform... so once again the PC players loose

Even the disastrous trophy update was technically a "mobile" update. The old trophy system didn't work on mobile, it was set up for the browser version, so they revamped the whole thing and stuck everyone with the objectively worse new mobile layout.

The main problem is that Howrse just wasn't built to be an app, there's too much to it. The few times I have blupped through the app have really annoyed me, it's so slow in comparison and requires a lot more clicks. I can see the game closing down shortly after if they went full mobile, as I doubt the majority of competitive players and serious coat collectors would stick around if it stayed in its current form.

Also a tip for the developers: I bought the Pegasus account because I wanted to organize my horses with breeding farms (the legit only reason I bought it) and there is nowhere a warning that says I don’t have enough days of seniority to add breeding farms yet. Why am I able to purchase Pegasus if I can’t access the most important feature? I wasted my passes here

I’m largely a mobile player cause I’m tired of all the clicking on PC. Actually prefer blupping on the app, though I know many disagree and I respect and get that. Still, mobile should be totally separate from PC…as it’s been said, Howrse is a rather complex game and you can’t fit most of that on mobile. Look at the EC for instance. I’m happy us app users can finally access our ECs but it’s still rather tedious and I definitely prefer PC/classic for EC management.

And TikTok?? Seriously?? I thought Facebook was bad enough and now you want us to go to the worst site/app in existence? No thanks. This is already a whole website for the game, why do we need to deviate to other, unrelated sites? If you want us to be more social, maybe, oh I don’t know, update the forums!! They’ve been needing a good update for a long time now, and i always thought it was really weird that most discussions have to be kept in EC forums. Does anyone even use those still? I’d love a public place for us to discuss the game in better detail, and would especially love a horse sale/stud section.

Just bad choice after bad choice, Howrse. Only still playing cause I never really cared much about trophies, but I DEFINITELY don’t care about them now lol and I have too much investment (thankfully not through passes/real money) in this game to leave just yet. Figured I’d stay until another game I play finally adds my favorite breed, as Howrse is one of the few games that has them.

Yeah, years ago many players flocked to EC forums to have discussions. Low and behold, they started being censored, karma was lost or you could even be banned. This was even if you made your forum private. So there was no point?

I think they need to do something about the Validate 4 Special features objective in the beginners objectives. The question comes up SO OFTEN! Perhaps the words' Special Features' could be a link, and when you click it scrolls down the page with the helpful green finger pointing at them?

You'd think with the amount of questions we get in game play about this they would fix it. Its inconvenient for new players if its so vague, and players in the game play answer the same question 10s of times in a week..

Stop linking us to discord... even the dev corner itself has a link to discord to talk about the new features! You have methods of communication with us in the game itself, why are you trying to drag your playerbase to other platforms? Please listen to people here.
