Do we have a pass estimate on the Cards yet? Or in the very least, is there any strategy that one could employ to further their progress within this promotion?

for the Cards as it's so heavily luck based, though it's stated that the probabilities have been adjusted this time.

A few players on preprod stated they spent 20-50 passes on card packs to finish the puzzles and get the divine, but it only took me 8 passes. However, I bought cards from the flash sales almost every time I could, and bought each of the rarity jokers from the private flash sale meter (there should be an image of that on the last page, or page before). However, buying from the flash sale auctions is often extremely expensive, and you have to be super fast to get the higher rarity cards from the direct sale.

That being said, buying from the flash sales is one route to go as you increase the private flash sale meter and can buy a joker card of each type (or just one card if you want) which could help you out in a pinch. Don't count on flash sale cards being ones you don't yet have, as quite of a few of the ones I bought were duplicates, so I had to spend extra money to trade them. Also, I nearly never trade bronze or silver cards unless I need to at the end because those usually come out of the wood work.

Also, the special offer card packs were the same as they've been in past Card events, I think.
One option is a pack of 4 cards for 1 pass. Two are bronze cards and two rarer cards ("rarer"being silver, gold or diamond.

I think the Joker packs were the same as well, which was 3 jokers for 5 passes. I didn't check the rarities, but in the past there was at least 1 gold or diamond joker. Packs can be bought for diamonds.

Not sure why Howrse thinks a random horse is a prize but I'm here to tell them it isn't. Howrse - a random horse is NOT a prize. You're welcome.

ever heard the saying "one man's trash is another man's treasure"? just because "you" don't consider it a prize doesn't mean that that is the case for others, i'd rather have that over some of the prizes that many people consider "good", which, of course, is just a preference.

I tried to extend my VIP on the prepod and it worked, I'm not sure if it'll work on the "real" version though...

At least a random horse can be used as an AP horse or easily sold for 3000-4000e, which is more value than some other prizes have. If you are lucky, you may even get a rare coat colour which can either be kept for trophy purposes or often sell for 50k+.
Although, at this point, I'm just glad when one of the offered 'prizes' isn't +10 energy to all horses. At least apples, fodder and foundies can be sold when I have no use for them.

Actually anything can be a prize. Those who create the event decide what is given out as a prize. For example, one can make x100 manure to a prize or make a "10% energy for all of your horses" into a prize. If its a prize worth aiming for or not is a matter of personal opinion.
