Currently in a shower stall you can do a 5 hour slope ride that equals 10% needed for bolding. With the changes you can still do the 5 hour rides counting for 10% but only if the EC's location is based for that ride. If not then the horse will only gain 5% for a 5 hour ride. |
Actually that's incorrect It was correct when I posted the rides skill-gain  I didn't look today again, however, and I looked with one of my untrained horses, not in Ows post.

Forest was gallop, jump, dressage. Mountain was stamina, speed, trot. We complained about the rides, and that's how they changed them from the initial proposal. Hopefully they'll changed again, because the amount of rides needed is terrible... All but the most experienced bluppers will go well over 10 to reach 100 blup. And even then some breeds,like Shetlands will need longer.

Click to display So it seems that having an Ec in the location drastically helps your rides. Would it be possible for me to have my horse boarded in my EC put at one location, then pull it with the VIP perk once I'm done with those rides and put it in someone else's different locationed EC? |

Not necessarily Click to display The Forest Horse is the child of Hippidion and Tarpan...So technically - you would only need to own Hippidion (use a public Covering from a Tarpan as Divines can offer Public Coverings). This is probably what I'll do (as the Forest Horse is the only one I like and while I do usually like to own both Parents, I'll make an exception if need be. As for the likelyhood of a sale - I doubt it (Howrse usually waits awhile nowadays before doing a Direct Sale (as I seem to recall people have been angry in the past about a sale happening right after a promo (especially if they spent 50 passes to get the Divine in the Promo, and suddenly it can be bought for just 20 passes by everyone else) Rides... I'm assuming she can always edit it in I honestly don't see why not - though correct me if I'm wrong, I thought VIPs can only cancel the board of their own horses in their own Center (so for this to work, you'd need to start with the horse in your Center, do the ride - then cancel and move to a new center) That's correct, so I guess that is possible. Click to display The Forest Horse is only gotten by breeding Hippidion to Tarpan - so you would need to get a Hippidion. And from what I've seen at present time - the only way to get Hippidion will be to buy the Historic Pack (a Pass Pack)

I like Tarpan more than Forest Horse - his cute little ears!  As for the reserved sales, this past instance with the Chinese divines is what I was thinking of. They went into the sales less than a week after they were out in the GC, so I thought maybe howrse was perhaps going to start putting them in sooner...? Not that I think it would necessarily be a good business move, but it would save me passes  If not that, then hopefully we'll at least have another promo soon where we can get Tarpan and Hippidion because as of now it appears we can only get them through buying passes, which I cannot do..

Click to display you will need to buy hippidion in the history pack to get forest horse. I have no problem there...cheapest pack. Tarpan you need to get in one of the packs. The other 2 you win on the divine star board in the magic ride.
