Honestly, you're right. I personally loved sitting down and mapping/planning out my boards, but it can get pretty exhausting for a mediocre grand prize, or prizes in general. For more strategy based events that require effort to play, it would be awesome if we could win a divine at the end of them, even if the divine doesn't do much.

or Golden Fleece. I am pretty sure he came in a golden fleece once. but either way, it'll still be just as expensive with a 9-19 frag rate.

Yep, last year I only got 224 frags for him with almost 3k passes saved up... I am not attempting that again.default smiley :s

I accidentally clicked away from the page when I got a pass UFO! Does this mean I lost my chance or can I get another UFO? Thanks default smiley :)

You should get another eventually, but it can take hours for another one to show. (I've waited over 12 hours before)

Yes to the first two, the third is only speculation as we're currently in the middle of Testing number two. default smiley :)

Hi, I'm here to bring you all completely worthless data!
Let's talk about a complaint I had: not mentioning drop rates of luck items!

Click to display

I opened (20,100 passes) 67 Tychee Crown on the test server. (Coming in the next event)

Let's talk about the divine:

First of all, I didn't get the divine - at all. Equal parts good and bad, I have no data to represent the true drop rate (though it looks terrible). I got 2100 Fragments, which means roughly 31.3 fragments per crown. I only got two divines as a whole, so taking away three crowns ( closest I can get to 100)
20,100 - 900 = 19,200
19,200 / 2 = 9600
That's 9600 passes to be guaranteed a divine. (32,640,000e)
At 150 passes per crown, this is 4,800 per divine. (16,320,000e)
These are only rounded estimates but are very close to the actual value.
This is not considering fragments earned from the event.

Items:

I only measured tack, BMI and high-value tack (whip, lunge etc. - no bridles, saddle cloths)

(1)Hera Pack, (3)Dials,(1)Pandoras Box,(3)Ray,(1)Lyre, (7 )GA, (2) Blanket, (2)Parchment,(1 )Stroke,(1)Whip,(2)P.Stones,(5) W.O.Y,(3) Spurs,(2)Lunge,(2)ZLB,(1)MA,(2)Studs,(3) Button Plaiting,(6 )A.Arrow,(4)Timer,(2)P.Pack(1)M.Blood,(1)Fortune,(1) harmony Pack (1) Nyx Pack,(5)Bonus Pack,(1)A.Heel,(2)P.O.C,(1)HWS.

Pass Value is taken as 3400 per 1 pass (The value varies but is generally considered between 3400 and 3500 per 1 pass) and was converted for the Bonus tack items.
Pass value for HWS taken at 575, the same price as the nyx pack, as it's the highest pass item it can be exchanged for.

All of this only comes to 7,460 passes.

Since I used 20,100 passes this is a loss of 12,640 passes.

Assuming you have a maximum discount, you would have used 10,050 passes. This is a loss of 2,590 passes.

Issues with this data:

It's not a big enough pool and not every item was obtained. Do not take this as an absolute drop rate, but also don't look away. Keep in mind regardless, you will likely be making a loss especially if you are opening many. The crown is 100% not worth opening until the discount has been obtained.

Not every item was measured. Ageing points, tack items and food were not included as part of this data. This means the loss is slightly less. I did measure aps for around the first 30 crowns, however... Lets say, don't count on it as an item that will stop you from having to farm default smiley xd.

While it doesn't change by a significant amount, the bonus tack does not have a pass value officially. The pass value was calculated using market trends from the direct sales.

Sadly, I can't bring you even a small calculation on the drop rate of the divine. This is, as I said, a small sample pool.
I hope this helps you make your decision on if the divine is worth it for you!

Yay! I enjoy the...

...merge events! Also, i was just wondering as i remembered my first or one of my first events, and wondering why they have never brought it back. Does anyone remember the Bingo game, where one of the Wild horses was released? This was back in Spring of 2012 or close to that.

I only vaguely remember it, so I googled for a memory refreshdefault smiley (lol) The Ultimate Howrse blog has an entry on it. Looks like one of the ways to get numbers was by feeding turnips, so that was back in the day!

Will progress on this next event be dependent on how soon you start it? Just want to know if I should go through it tomorrow morning when I get up early lol

Judging from previous versions of this event, this one gives a ton of leeway. I think it'd be best if you did at least the tutorial when you wake up, that way you have lots of time to do other things while the meters recharge, and on top of that have more items to use when you come back to the event, but I don't think its imperative you do it at all.

Just curious... Does anyone remember any sort of promo/event that spanned from late June into July 2012 where a bunch of foundies were released? I've collected a bunch of 351 foundie Curlies and I noticed they're all from that period of time lol. I wasn't very active at that time (and very new) so I have absolutely no idea myself.

Yes it was lol...it ended kind of sad for me! I was very new, and hadn't noticed that the promo wasn't permanent. What happened was i was on for the very last bit of it, and finally got all the numbers i needed to finish the board and get the Wild. I went to apply it, or whatever i need to do to pick up the wild, and just before i could do that, the whole thing vanished. The promo literally ended just as i was trying to accept the final big prize, sigh.default smiley :'(

Thankfully i now have all the wilds.default smiley ^)

I'm just hopeful that they don't pull it until the usual time, even if it turns out it was a mistake.
