I think that if the Diamond Apple ever returns, it will be as a brand new separate item, so it would not necessarily affect the value of the old DA coats.

It would simply be wrong to bring back the old Diamond Apples. ugh I still need Devoted Indigo - hope Howrse decides to offer us the option to try and get him.

Lost faith in what? Lost faith in the return of the DA. Because Howrse said (!) that they would try to bring it back. So, anyone paying dozens of passes for an item that is supposed to return, clearly lost faith in the return. And that is their own fault.

If they were working on something, then don't you think it would have happened by now? Also, they said 'try'. That's not guaranteed. Pfft a lot of the time they say 'we've shared your suggestion with the team and might change this' on PreProd or something, but it never happens. Some things just fall through. Besides, I feel like it would be the whole Retired Golden Apple thing all over again- Remember when they tried to introduce an item that would allow people to buy multiple copies of already retired coats? RC collectors lost it. DAs are a part of the economy just like RCs. If the old DA came back, DA collectors would lose it because that means 100s of passes down the drain. Even if a new, different DA came out, they would still lose their value. After all, if it's the silhouette someone's after, there's always the VA now. I haven't lost faith. I would like to see how it works if it returned, and if it did I'd probably buy a bunch. But I'm just saying that if it did, then a lot of the older players who've spent years building up their collections would be very unhappy.

So that means we can expect Anubis to do the same - and like the rest, he'll probably offer something like this: 1x - Black Market Item Equus or Aging Points Skill points to increase his skills

I was thinking along the same lines, but I really hope not. That would be terrible- Is there going to be a new breed release anytime soon? Not that we know of at the moment.

Click to display Anubis Click to display I hope the drop rate is better than my Thoth's. I have yet to get a H. Staff off of him, though I have been pleasantly surprised with the amount of APs I've been getting which is pretty sweet. However, I did get an obscene amount of TCs (half of them not getting to level 3 for treats) just to maybe get some APs everyday 
But Anubis looks so darn awesome I'll probably scratch and scramble to try to get him anyway unless he has a seriously terrible perk.

If our luck was absolutely splendid, maybe the promo will require us to use Pandora's Boxes to get him somehow like we did in the Potions contest! I have a dozen in stock that I can't seem to get rid of so that would make my day! *crosses fingers*

Thoth has given me 85 aging points, 1 staff, and 98 skill points in the month I've owned him. Which is very much worth it to me for the aging points alone. 85 in a month with potential for more, and less, but still, is up there with Hrimfaxi for me. I especially like that the majority of the time he has given me x15 aging points on a few times x5. Maybe his generosity will change, but so far, so good. So if Anubis gives aging points it's a for sure for me. |
