That's because we are not talking about the actual Map displayed on the Promotion page...We are talking about fully revelaed screen shots of Maps from testing;

Supposedly - it is possible to complete the Maze without needing to use Passes

But of course, without using passes can also mean just using Titan's CHallenges you have in inventory/traded for
.

As for not using Passes on the White Dot route...give me a few hours and I'll have that calculation as well

While images DO exist of Draft Unicorns and Pegasus (and Winged Unis) - at present time, they are the same as Donkeys in that they can not receive Medusa's Blood to become Pegasus. Unicorn wise - we'd have to wait on that one as Unicorn-forms are released in promotions.

This might change in the future - but for now, I'd say the chance is high that they won't be able to be Unicorns or Pegasus (or Winged Unicorns)

Also, to LittleMonty and anyone else who is wondering.

With the max. 5% regeneration rate - and without using Passes...I found I needed an additional 10 days to reach the end of the maze (as in another calculation I ran based on the promotion being 18 days long like it is...I only got a little over half-way through before it would end)

It's possible there are a few treats I did not take into account (as the Red Line Map is missing some due to them having been claimed before the shot was taken) but I did reference the untouched map to find the locations of some.

Within the 17 day time period of the promotion (in reality - it's 18 days but the 18th day is not a full day) - I found that I was still 103 spaces short of Lovely Blue. To make up those 103 spaces:

Buying treats flat out - 53 passes (50 passes = 100 treats, 3 passes = 3 treats)

Using Titan's Challenges with my usual number of most and leats treats won each time with no failures:

Titan's Challenge - 6 treats won each time:
103 / 6 = 17 TCs
17 x 2 = 34 passes

Titan's Challenge - 10 moves won each time:
103 / 10 = 10 Titan's Challenges
10 x 2 = 20 passes

So on the Red Line route using Titan's Challenges...you are looking at between 20 to 40 passes.

You need to be invited by the Admins (they send out PMs to the lucky chosen players, they pick players of all kinds too (new and old, top breeder and just for fun, etc).

Preprod isn't so much about seeing the development side - rather, it's more like beta testing (early access to the promotion to check for bugs)

Nope - though VIPs do get a certain amount of spots set aside for them (when preprod is just about to open, VIPs get a banner or something on the main page to click to guarantee themselves a spot (but that's only if they click the banner in time)

Otherwise, like everyone else - they need to hope to be chosen via invite PM

You do not have to be a pass buyer to finish promos. I am not a pass buyer and i have finished several promos now through hard work and dedication. If you want it bad enough then start working on breeding good horses, flipping sales and so much more to earn the equus and passes needed to finish promotions. It can be done without buying passes with real money you just have to be willing to put in the work.

I know that, but I meant in terms of not having any passes to use, or even if you just have a couple.

ShorahNagi figured out that without using Titans Challenges we would need 53 passes. Even doing all those things you have said I don't think I'd ever be able to get that many.
And also to me that's a waste, using those 53 just for this promotion to get Lovely Blue, when if you just wait a while you'll be able to get her for around 20 in the reserved sales or in Titans Challenges (most likely).

Well, you still need the hard work and determination to get the 20 passes it would take to get her in the reserved sales if she is offered in the reserved sales. A lot of people dont want to take the chance that she wont be (or any other divine for that matter) or they just dont want to wait.

Yeah it's true it would still require hard work, but at least it wouldn't be as bad as trying to get 53 default smiley :)
I'm pretty sure all divines have been or will be offered in the reserved sales at least once, to allow people to complete their collections. They won't be offered for a while I don't think though, not until they have at least all come out and been out for a while.

HorseFan, They usually are when they are involved in promos. If you think about it, owlient can make more profit from the promo if tc are offered for passes in BM. So I'm 99% sure that's what will happen.


I haven't a hope of completing the maze, but I'm loving it anyway. Thank you howrse for a new promo!
