A new breed of donkey
A new breed of donkey makes its grand debut on Howrse! To distinguish this new donkey from those already available in the game, we've chosen to rename the existing type as the "standard donkey".
Originally from western France, the new donkey has very long ears and an unusually long coat. Their long coat is the reason why you won't be able to give them a Custom clip. Come meet our new donkey on Thursday!

More customization options for donkeys
Attention all donkey lovers! We have some exciting news for you! As you may already know, most customization items didn't work on donkeys. With this new update, you can now assign almost all customization items to donkeys, except for Horsetail braids and Button plaiting.
Moreover, to expand your customization options even further:
- You can now give your draft horses a Vintage Apple.
- There are no longer any restrictions on the types of coats you can give your horses. Donkeys, horses, ponies and draft horses all have access to all types of coats.
- Unicorns, winged horses and winged unicorns also have access to all types of coats, but these are adjusted to their special feature: horn, wings or both.

We've changed the way we give the gifts for Ràn and Hipparion.
To align the system used for Ràn and Hipparion with the one used for Kaktos, we've adjusted the way we distribute gifts to them. In the past, thanks to these divine horses, you could obtain a foal of a new breed immediately after the update introducing it was released. From now on, you'll have to wait until at least one player gets the new breed before you can get it using your divine horses.
We're implementing this change to make sure that the new breed isn't introduced before its official debut during a contest or marketing event.

The Devs' Corner
Here are some minor changes that were made to the game with this update:
- Fixed a bug that sometimes caused daily objectives to be given twice.
- Added the option to give apples to the horses borrowed from the loaning page.
